ANCI Toscana has released a tender titled “Building green and climate-neutral city hubs across European cities” as of 26 March 2025. This tender is part of an effort to encourage innovative solutions in hydrogen energy and climate services across five EU cities, including Grenoble, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Prijedor, Sofia, and Pilsen. The tender primarily aims to foster research and development services oriented towards climate neutrality. The selected solutions will assist cities in reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable urban practices. This is particularly important for the hydrogen sector, as the deployment of hydrogen technologies can significantly reduce the carbon footprint in urban environments. The requirements are structured within five lots, each worth an estimated value of 240,000 EUR, indicating a significant investment in these transformative technologies.
Technical requirements for this tender include the development of socio-technical systems that could merge various software and hardware applications to support urban policies and citizen decisions toward climate-friendly actions. To participate, eligible entities must submit their proposals electronically in English.
