Hydrofuel Canada secures US patent, completes prototype for micro ammonia production system Hydrofuel Canada has announced the issuance of US Patent 11,885,029 “Systems and Methods for Forming Nitrogen-Based Compounds” alongside the completion of their commercial prototype of Micro Ammonia Production System (MAPS 1.0). The MAPS 1.0 technology marks a significant advancement in sustainable ammonia synthesis from air and water through a gas-phase electrochemical process.
