The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) has agreed to invest in the Clean H2 Infra Fund of France as an equity partner. The Fund aims to raise EUR1,500 million, with JBIC contributing up to EUR100 million. The Fund is managed by Hy24, which is a 50/50 joint venture between FiveT Hydrogen, a clean hydrogen investment manager, and Ardian, a world-leading private investment house, through its infrastructure activity. Energroup, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, and Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) have signed a preliminary agreement to develop blue and green hydrogen generation in Israel. As part of the agreement, the two organizations agree to work together on green and blue hydrogen project sourcing, development, implementation, and operation, among other things. Honeywell has come up with a new technology for making green hydrogen that will be tested with electrolyzer manufacturers. This technology is called catalyst-coated membranes (CCMs). The technology is based on CCMs for proton exchange membrane and anion exchange membrane electrolyzers, which use them.
