Clean Power Capital has increased its investment in Powertap Hydrogen Fueling by acquiring an additional 4.5% equity interest in the company. The company initially invested in PowerTap in October 2020 by acquiring a 90% equity interest. With the latest investment, Clean Power has increased its equity interest in PowerTap to 94.5%. CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, has secured Victorian government funding that will enable it to partner with Swinburne University of Technology to establish the Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2). VH2 is designed to bring researchers, industry partners and businesses together to test, trial and demonstrate new and emerging hydrogen technologies. Ballard Power Systems has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Energy Ventures, a provider of integrated compressed shipping solutions for the transportation of energy to regional markets, for the development of a new fuel cell-powered ship, called C-H2 Ship, designed to transport compressed green hydrogen.
