JinkoSolar Holding’s wholly-owned subsidiary JinkoSolar Sweihan (HK) (Sweihan HK) has signed a share and debt purchase agreement with Jinko Power (HK) Company (Jinko HK), an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinko Power Technology. Pursuant to the agreement, Sweihan HK will sell its 50% equity interest in Sweihan Solar Holding Company (Sweihan Holding) to Jinko HK. Sweihan Holding holds a 40% equity interest in Sweihan PV Power Company PJSC (Project Company), the operating entity of a 1,200 MW photovoltaic power plant in Abu Dhabi. European Marine Energy Centre’s (EMEC) research and development engineer, James Ferguson, has won the Scottish Renewables Young and Inspiring Award at the 2020 Green Energy Awards. Having graduated with a chemical engineering MEng from the University of Edinburgh, James joined EMEC in 2017 taking on the role of hydrogen research engineer to work towards an Engineering Doctorate through the Industrial Centre for Doctoral Training for Offshore Renewable Energy (IDCORE) programme. BYD “Build Your Dreams” will partner with Canadian Solar to provide advanced battery technology for the 100 MWac Mustang solar plant in Kings County, California. A consortium of offshore renewable energy and marine companies will lead a project to explore the viability of developing an offshore charging facility for vessels as part of the industry’s efforts to decarbonize its vessel operations. NKT has entered into service agreements with Elia, 50Hertz and Nemo Link with the purpose to ensure efficient integration of energy into the Belgian, UK and German power grid. Danish transmission system operator Energinet has selected EOLOS Floating Lidar Solutions to deploy a floating LiDAR buoy in the Hesselø offshore wind farm area. The floating LiDAR buoy will measure twelve months of wind speed and direction at the site located in Kattegatt more than 30 kilometers north of the coast of Zealand (Sealand).
