GreenZo Energy and API Power, a renewable energy firm located in Nepal, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop 50-MW green hydrogen plants in Nepal over the next three years. The MOU stipulates that API Power will invest Rs 10 billion in 50 MW green hydrogen facilities that can produce 4,000 MT of hydrogen annually. Existing hydro and solar projects, including Bardeghat, Chanauta, Kawasoti, Dhalkebar, Parwanipur, Simara, and Chandranigapur, are recommended for the hydrogen initiative.
