Woodside has secured property in Tasmania for its projected H2TAS hydrogen plant. The land is a largely cleared plot located in the Austrak Business Park (Long Reach) in northern Tasmania’s Bell Bay region. Woodside and Austrak have reached an agreement on an exclusive long-term leasing option. The H2TAS project consists of approximately 1.7 GW of electrolysis for the generation of hydrogen and ammonia, which will be completed in phases.
