Sonnedix has closed the purchase of a 5.1MW operational asset portfolio from Diversis Energa and Grupo Enerpal. The portfolio comprises two ground-mounted solar photovoltaic plants in Spain. The Nordex Group has received an order for 182.4 MW from Spain that will see the group supply 38 N155/4.8 turbines from the Delta4000 series for a wind farm in the country’s center. The order also includes a service contract for the turbines covering a period of two years. The turbines are expected to be shipped and assembled in the spring of 2022, with commissioning occurring in the same year. Iberdrola has extended its clean energy footprint in Poland, one of the company’s new growth areas. The company has agreed to buy three new onshore wind farms with a combined capacity of 163 megawatts from CEE Equity Partner. GE Renewable Energy’s Grid Solutions business has been awarded a multi-million-dollar contract to upgrade three Gas-Insulated Substations (GIS) located in Khimti, Barhabise and Lapsiphedi in Nepal. The Dogger Bank Wind Farm developers have unveiled the blueprint for the multi-million pound Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Base, which will support the world’s largest offshore wind farm. The base will be built in the Port of Tyne, pending planning consent.
