Siemens Energy and Air Liquide have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the objective to combine their expertise in PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) electrolysis technology. They intend to focus their activities on these key areas: co-creation of large industrial-scale hydrogen projects in collaboration with customers, laying the ground for mass manufacturing of electrolyzers in Europe, especially in Germany and France, and R&D activities to co-develop next generation electrolyzer technologies. Total has bought a development pipeline of 2.2 GW of solar projects, and 600 MW of battery storage assets in Texas. The projects are bought from SunChase Power, a renewable energy company focused on developing utility-scale energy projects, and MAP RE/ES, a private energy investment firm. Vestas has secured a 29 MW order for the Mazara Messer Andrea wind park, to be located in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of eight V136-3.45 MW delivered in 3.6 MW Power Optimised Mode. Vestas has won a contract to supply, build and commission 15 V110-2.0 MW of wind turbines for a 30 MW project in Poland. The order includes a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service arrangement as well as a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution, which decreases downtime of the turbine and thus optimizes the energy output.
