Fusion Fuel Green has signed an MoU with BGR Energy Systems (BGRENERGY) to develop green hydrogen projects in India. The companies aim to set up an initial demonstrator plant in India in 2021 and then expand broader ventures in the area for the supply of hydrogen for the manufacture of green ammonia and bio-ethanol and as feedstock for other heavy industrial applications. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has entered into an arrangement to divest 49 percent of the Monegros onshore wind portfolio in a fund run by Arjun Infrastructure Partners (Arjun). The portfolio of Monegros consists of 12 onshore wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 487 MW situated in Aragon, Spain. Iberdrola continues its investment in Extremadura with 750 MW of new photovoltaic power approved for construction in the province of Cáceres, which will contribute to the economic recovery and demographic challenge in the region. The Tagus photovoltaic plant (380 MW) will be situated in the municipality of Alcántara and will have over 930,000 panels and 226 inverters on a fixed frame. UK Government agreed to invest £4.8 million in Holyhead to pilot the production of hydrogen. Ynys Môn MP Virginia Crosbie has been instrumental in securing the investment after talking to ministers and business leaders on the island over many months and making the case for Anglesey to be at the forefront of green technology. Siemens Energy has teamed up with Intermountain Power Agency to carry out a feasibility report on the integration of a hydrogen energy storage facility into an integrated combined cycle power plant. TSO TenneT and CrossWind, a consortium of Shell and Eneco, have signed agreements for the construction of the offshore grid connection for the Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm, off the Dutch coast. The signed agreements concern the realization, connection and transmission of power between the wind farm of CrossWind and the platform of TenneT. Iberdrola is leading a project in Aragón to produce green hydrogen by building a hydrogenerator at the PLAZA Logistics Platform in Zaragoza. It wil have 10 MW of electrolysers capable of producing and supplying green hydrogen to heavy road transport vehicles.
