Altus Power has completed the acquisition of a 2.5 megawatt solar project in Charlotte, Vermont. The acquired project produces approximately 3 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year. This project sells electricity to VEPP, a not-for-profit Vermont company that operates two of Vermont’s renewable energy projects under a contract with the Vermont Public Utility Commission. “We are pleased to add this operating asset to our growing national portfolio of distributed generation solar assets. PKN ORLEN has started onshore geological surveys along the connecting route of its proposed offshore wind farm. The work will help to delineate an underground cable route to evacuate electricity from an offshore farm to an onshore power station. The measurements will be carried out in the municipality of Choczewo, where the transmission system will be installed. Arizona Public Service Company (APS) has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Leeward to purchase wind power from Leeward’s two Aragon wind plants.
