Energiekontor sold its Boddin wind farm. The wind farm is a single-unit Nordex N149 style project with a capacity of 4.2 MW. The contract for the project was awarded at 6.20 ct / kWh in the tender on 1 October 2019. The Boddin wind farm will be erected at a site of the same name in the district of Prignitz (Brandenburg) and is currently expected to be operational by the end of September 2021. The construction of the Moray East offshore wind farm came a step closer as Siemens Energy, the lead contractor for the 950MW project, completes the onshore cable installation. The onshore cable, which begins near Banff, Aberdeenshire, takes the offshore power from the three 220 kV subsea cables and transmits it to the new onshore substation in New Deer, where it connects to the grid. Pacifico Renewables Yield has signed an agreement to purchase a 15.6 MW onshore wind farm in Germany from a subsidiary of New Energies Systems (Mayen, Rhineland-Palatinate), a non-affiliated project development company. Crown Estate Scotland has confirmed the final process and timelines for ScotWind Leasing going forward.
