The Nordex Group has received a 24 MW order from its regular customer Sancak Enerji, for the Baglar-3 wind farm in Turkey. Nordex will supply five N133/4800 wind turbines. The order also contains a plan for Premium Service throughout a ten-year period. The Baglar-3 wind farm will be installed in the province of Konya, near its provincial capital of the same name, some 200 kilometers south of Ankara. Mainstream Renewable Power has placed an order with Vestas for the 109 MW Ckani wind park to be located in Antofagasta, Chile. The contract includes the supply and installation of 26 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines, as well as the Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for the operation and maintenance of the wind farm for the next 20 years. NextEra Energy Transmission, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, has entered into final agreements with Blackstone’s affiliates to purchase GridLiance Holdco and GridLiance for approximately $660 million, including debt assumptions. Vestas has received an order for 17 V150-5.6 MW wind turbines in the USA. The order covers the supply and commissioning of turbines, as well as a 10-year service agreement designed to ensure optimized efficiency over the lifetime of the project. The delivery of turbines is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021. Vestas has obtained a 53 MW order from Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company (TBW), a local developer of two wind projects in Vietnam. Vestas will supply, deliver, build and commission a total of 13 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines delivered at different power ratings to maximize the energy output of the projects. Maxeon Solar Technologies has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Canadian Solar Japan in Tokyo District Court, Japan. The prosecution alleges that Canadian Solar Japan is in violation of Maxeon’s Japan Patent No. JP6642841B2 (Shingled Solar Cell Module) for the patented and fundamental shingled solar cell panel technology used under the brand name ‘SunPower Performance’ to deploy solar panels that Maxeon designs, manufactures and sells. Eolus has signed an agreement with Commerz Real concerning the selling of three wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 68 MW in southern Sweden. The preliminary purchase price for the wind farms amounts to €82.5 million.
