E.ON has joined the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, aimed to support the achievement of climate targets by expanding the use of hydrogen (H2) as an energy carrier and to promote the development of a European hydrogen economy. The alliance, which currently comprises around 200 companies and other organizations, is committed to expanding and implementing hydrogen technologies by 2030. Other goals include promoting demand for low-carbon hydrogen from sectors such as industry and mobility and bringing together hydrogen transmission and distribution. Vestas has signed an 86 MW contract with Nexif Energy for the second stage of the Lincoln Gap Wind Farm in South Australia. The EPC agreement will include the engineering, procurement and construction of 24 of Vestas’ V136-3.45 MW turbines delivered in 3.6 MW Power Optimised Mode. This will add to the customer’s existing fleet of 126 MW of Senvion turbines which are being serviced by Vestas. Siemens Gamesa has received a firm order from Adani Green Energy for one of India’s biggest wind energy projects. The company will supply 215 SG 2.2-122 wind turbines for a total output of 473 MW. The deal with Adani will see Siemens Gamesa deliver to the project in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan , India on its core strengths covering the production, supply, installation and pre-commissioning of the wind turbines.
