Seven hydrogen projects across Finland, Norway, Portugal, and Spain will receive EUR 720 million ($771.6 million) from the European Hydrogen Bank. This initiative aims to boost hydrogen production by covering the cost gap between renewable hydrogen and its non-renewable counterpart.

Spain is set to achieve five gigawatts (GW) of installed electrolyzer capacity by 2030. Although this is below Spain’s target of 11 GW, it is the highest projected capacity among European Union countries.

The Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (SCEP) Ministerial was held in Washington D.C., led by U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and Indian Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri. This event focused on renewable energy, hydrogen, and energy storage.

Hydrom joined forces with the Oman Vision 2040 unit and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals to wrap up a two-week Ecosystem Readiness Lab. They designed 26 initiatives aimed at achieving Oman’s green hydrogen production goals by 2030.
