The Municipality of Warsaw, Poland, has announced a new tender titled “Construction of a Bus Depot with Accompanying Infrastructure and Hydrogen Refueling Station.”

This tender, published on September 25, 2024, aims to receive submissions by October 4, 2024. The tender is crucial for advancing Poland’s hydrogen infrastructure, indicating the country’s commitment to green energy and sustainable public transport.

The primary objective of this tender is to construct a bus depot and an accompanying hydrogen refueling station. The depot will serve the city’s growing fleet of hydrogen-powered buses. This project is part of Warsaw’s broader strategy to reduce carbon emissions and enhance the sustainability of its public transportation system.

The tender outlines several key requirements. First, the construction company must build a fully equipped bus depot, including parking, maintenance facilities, and administrative offices. Second, the company must also construct a hydrogen refueling station capable of servicing multiple buses efficiently and safely. The refueling station must adhere to the latest safety standards and be designed for easy future expansion.
