Northeast Brazil’s Pecem Industry and Port Complex (CIPP) has signed a pre-contract with Brazilian developers Casa dos Ventos Energias Renovaveis and Comerc Eficiencia to create a green hydrogen and ammonia plant with up to 2.4 GW of electrolysis capacity.

Chile set itself the objective of becoming one of the world’s top producers of green hydrogen a couple of years ago. However, a number of challenges have developed along the road.
