The Maritime Cluster of Cantabria (MarCA) is promoting the formation of the ‘Green Hydrogen Cantabria’ consortium, which has a budget of between 26.2 and 28.3 million euros and has already attracted 26 enterprises.
By focusing on low-to-negative carbon intensity hydrogen from renewable natural gas, biogas, and other sustainable sources, the hydrogen production facilities will be used to satisfy hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle demand.
Decentralized green hydrogen may be created from biogas using the “Chemical-Looping Hydrogen-Method,” a sustainable approach for decentralized hydrogen generation.
