    Bulgartransgaz explores hydrogen transmission demand

The non-binding survey is being conducted to determine market demand for hydrogen transmission capacity, according to Bulgartransgaz, the government-owned gas transmission company of Bulgaria.

According to a news release from Bulgartransgaz, the survey will be conducted in conjunction with nearby operators to determine market interest in hydrogen’s possible place in the future energy mix as well as to estimate the demand for hydrogen transmission capacity.

The outcomes will make it easier to plan and build the essential infrastructure for hydrogen transmission to and via Bulgaria, identifying potential production sites there and end-user departure points.

New directory highlights South Australia’s green hydrogen supply chain

A new company directory has been released by the South Australian government to highlight and promote the capabilities of regional companies to cater to the state’s multibillion-dollar green hydrogen industry.

Numerous local businesses that are interested in and capable of offering services as a part of the intricate hydrogen supply chain that is going online are included in the SA Hydrogen Industry Suppler Directory.

The directory was developed through a formal expression of interest procedure in early 2023 and is funded by the South Australian Government and delivered by the Industry Capability Network of South Australia (ICN SA). In their responses, more than 260 companies described how they could help with the production of green iron as well as the fabrication, storage, transportation, and distribution of hydrogen and renewable energy.
