The first integrated hydrogen transportation platform in France, Hype, which runs a sizable fleet of hydrogen taxis, has announced the completion of a 15 million euro investment from Vinci Concessions.

Along with this investment, Vinci Concessions and Hype have formed a strategic relationship to hasten the growth of hydrogen mobility both domestically and internationally.

Hype will entrust Vinci Energies with the building of fresh hydrogen production and distribution facilities in Ile-de-France as part of this agreement. Over the next three years, 26 domestically produced hydrogen distribution stations should be operational, 20 of which will have a daily capacity of 1 ton.

In addition, Vinci Concessions will use its resources to support Hype so that it may deploy its network of stations both domestically and abroad, relying particularly on the hydrogen domain experience of VINCI Energies.
