MHI Vestas has moved in to Able Seaton Port (ASP) in Hartlepool ready to install 90 of its V164-9.5 MW turbines at the Triton Knoll project in Q1 2021. ASP will serve as the turbine logistics and pre-assembly hub for the project, with components expected to arrive from next month. The International Energy Agency and the European Patent Office (EPO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation with the aim of promoting innovation in sustainable energy technologies. RWE has started commercial operation of the Cranell wind farm, a 220-megawatt (MW) project, located in Refugio County, Texas. The project is powered by 100 Vestas 2.2 MW turbines and will have the capacity to generate enough electricity to power more than 66,000 homes.
