HRS, a European leader in the design and construction of hydrogen refueling stations, has signed a partnership agreement with Hype for the supply of 8 HRS hydrogen stations between 2022 and 2023, as part of the deployment of its proprietary green hydrogen production and distribution network, designed to support the development of carbon-free mobility, primarily for Hype taxis. This contract has a potential revenue of around €24 million. The stations will be primarily installed in the Île-de-France region to help Hype achieve its goal for the 2024 Olympics: 10,000 taxis with a network of 20 stations capable of producing 1,000…

PyroGenesis Canada has announced the launch of a new zero-carbon emission (“ZCE”) hydrogen production technology that is expected to compete with conventional technologies in producing environmentally friendly hydrogen. PyroGenesis’ new hydrogen production technology is now in testing and is expected to convert methane to hydrogen, resulting in ZCE hydrogen. Water electrolysis, the traditional ZCE process, is extremely expensive, requires a lot of energy, and uses rare earth materials. The buildup of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere contributes to global warming. The Paris Agreement commits 191 countries to limiting GHG emissions, while many territories, including the European Union, have committed…
