LONGi has supplied 11.7MW of innovative solar modules to a PV plant within the Parque Fotovoltaico Libertadores in Los Andes Province, Chile, which is now supplying electricity to the local grid. LONGi was selected as the sole module supplier for the project. The plant, covering 24.4 hectares, was developed by D ‘E Capital and constructed by EPC company Orion Power, with an investment of $12 million. Energy company Eneco has become a member of the Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Ports (AYOP) association, which represents over 85 companies and organizations active in the North Sea Canal region with a focus on the offshore sector. Nuvve Corporation and Blue Bird Corporation have made available the Blue Bird’s Vision Type C and All American Type D electric school buses enabled with Nuvve’s vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. Both Blue Bird bus types are now equipped with a standard CCS connector capable of V2G charging and discharging of the 155kWh batteries that allow up to 120 miles of range on a single charge. Anthem has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with SunEnergy1 for the output from a new 182-acre 20-megawatt solar field located in Hanover County, Virginia. The Hanover County solar field is nearly complete and expected to be fully operational later this year. Combined with an additional solar field in North Carolina coming online in early 2021, Anthem will have supported the development of more than 1,000 acres of solar panels that will generate more than 225,000-megawatt hours of electricity per year.
