The demand for clean hydrogen will reach millions of tons by 2035.
To develop talent for potential new enterprises, POSCO E&C has inked an MOU with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology.
Hydrogen is not comparable to the wind or even the sun. This, in my opinion, is the element that is found most frequently in space.
This development project is being carried out by MES-M thanks to funding from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization.
The project will treble Europe’s current total capacity for liquid hydrogen once it is operational in 2025.
The project, which represents an investment of €226.4 million ($224.4 million), is anticipated to create 24 new employment throughout operation and 442 new ones during the building phase.
The goal is to investigate potential avenues for the Kingdom’s future of sustainable transportation and to create and put into action ideas connected to rail infrastructure and capabilities that are in line with Vision 2030.
RIL’s goal of having net zero carbon emissions by 2035 includes their green hydrogen push.
The deal includes options for an additional 25 trains, which would take the place of the current diesel locomotives driving push-pull sets utilized for Amtrak California services that are supported by the state.
The second initiative to boost the growth of the hydrogen value chain was approved by the European Commission.
