Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has entered into an agreement to divest a 49 percent interest in the Monegros onshore wind portfolio to a fund controlled by Arjun Infrastructure Partners through its fund Copenhagen Infrastructure III K/S (CI-III). Monegros’ portfolio comprises 12 onshore wind farms in Aragon, Spain, with a gross installed capacity of 487 MW. Hydrofuel Canada and Ontario Tech University have signed a letter of intent to sponsor research projects and negotiate commercial rights to a specialized portfolio of ammonia-related technologies at the University. Hydrofuel has raised $500,000 in capital investments to support this initiative. Nordex Group has received another order from Spain comprising eleven N155/4.X turbines. The turbines are planned for a 50 MW wind farm in the country’s north. The order also requires a long-term Premium Service for the turbines. The wind farm’s building is scheduled to be finished this year. The Nordex Group will mount the turbines on 120-meter-high concrete towers manufactured in the company’s concrete-tower plant in Motilla del Palancar, Castilla-La Mancha. The turbines will be installed in the Nordex Group’s Vall D’Uxo factory, which is situated 320 kilometers away.
