The Morrison Government’s 2021-22 Budget will invest a further $539.2 million in new clean hydrogen, carbon capture, use and storage (CCS/CCUS) projects that will support Australian industry, create jobs, help cut emissions and drive investment.
Green hydrogen, renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuels, and bio-plastic feedstocks will be generated as part of the $9.2 billion multi-year initiative.
The Councilor for the Environment of Puglia clarified that for the substantial investments that must be made in terms of renewables, we should strive to hold two themes together
As a global industrial powerhouse, India has emerged as a key actor and partner for the Biden Administration in the fight against climate change. In March, US and Indian energy ministers struck an agreement to revamp the US-India Strategic Energy Partnership to reflect the new priorities of green energy and low-carbon development. This watershed moment for US-India energy cooperation is expected to bring greater collaboration in clean energy research in hydrogen as well as collaboration on innovative mechanisms for renewable energy financing. Stronger cooperation in these areas could support both countries in meeting – and raising – their clean energy…
Volvo Trucks intends to use hydrogen fuel cells to produce energy in order to satisfy the demanding demands for both high load capacity and a much longer range.
The Hydra Consortium will allow heavy-duty mining mobile equipment to operate on renewable hydrogen, replacing diesel and decarbonizing the mining industry.
TECO 2030 will cooperate with Implenia to develop hydrogen-based power solutions for construction sites.
Calvera revealed that it plans to expand its hydrogen ventures to meet the demand for hydrogen refueling stations over the next decade.
Global engineering and technology company, Vysus Group, has secured a contract to deliver a range of technical safety and risk studies for a new hydrogen refilling station in Spain.
Dominion Energy is continuing its clean energy transformation with early investments in hydrogen. This emerging clean energy source will help the company achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and support the decarbonization of other industries like transportation and manufacturing. Known as the “Swiss Army knife of clean energy,” hydrogen can do everything natural gas can do – only with fewer or even zero emissions. When produced using excess energy from solar, wind or nuclear, hydrogen produces zero greenhouse gas emissions. It can be blended with natural gas to heat homes or generate electricity or used as a clean fuel for transportation and manufacturing.…
