Luxcara and GE Renewable Energy have singed agreement to deliver 753 MW of onshore wind capacity with the Önusberget wind farm in northern Sweden. The project will be the largest single onshore wind farm in Europe and GE’s largest onshore wind farm contract outside of the US. Nordex Group will supply nine N117/3600 turbines for the Den Tol wind farm in the Netherlands. The turbines will be supplied in the 3.675 MW operating mode. The order also includes a Premium Service contract for the turbines covering a period of 25 years. Australian Renewable Energy Agency’s (ARENA) has launched $71.9 million Future Fuels Fund as part of the 20/21 Federal Budget, aimed at addressing barriers to the roll out of new vehicle technologies. Shoreham Port and H2evolution have started work on green hydrogen hub. A planning application will shortly be developed to establish a 20-megawatt electrolysis plant to the south of the Port’s lock gates. Abengoa has completed the construction of the demonstration plant for the Grasshopper project, with the aim of producing sustainable power using hydrogen fuel cells.
