FEV has joined the H2Global Foundation in order to help achieve the goals set out in Germany’s National Hydrogen Strategy, which include assisting in the manufacture and import of green hydrogen and power-to-x goods.
Wärtsilä will provide engine generating sets, which will run on a hydrogen and natural gas blend, for Keppel Offshore & Marine’s (Keppel O&M) ‘Floating Living Lab’ (FLL), the first-of-its-kind offshore floating testbed in Singapore.
The new facilities will raise the company’s current annual capacity of electrolysers from 75MW to 400MW when fully expanded, optimized, and ramped up by 2023.
PosHYdon is the world’s first operational offshore green hydrogen pilot. With this grant, the consortium will be able to begin all of the pilot’s activities. The consortium partners will cover the remaining costs.
