Pemex Chief Executive Octavio Romero said at a daily government news conference that the company was in talks to buy back the hydrogen plants at its Tula and Madero refineries.
The funds must be used to co-finance projects in Chile that include the construction and startup of Green Hydrogen production plants, with the aim of co-financing long-term investments in electrolyzers, their installations, and the auxiliary systems that enable them to operate.
The MOU lays out the groundwork for a renewable energy and clean fuel center on Port-owned property, which will include solar facilities, battery storage facilities, and electrolyzer facilities.
The project will generate more than 300,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per year, reduce Alberta’s CO2 emissions by more than two million tonnes per year
The two are ready to market their hydrogen fuel cell technology, which can power ships, trains, and stationary applications such as wireless networks, data centers, and hospitals
The Company purchased a 90 percent equity stake in PowerTap on October 27, 2020, and an additional 4.5 percent of PowerTap on February 5, 2021. Clean Power has raised its equity stake in PowerTap to 100% with this new acquisition.
