EcoEdge PrimePower is the name of the project in question (E2P2). Equinix, sector players Vertiv and InfraPrime, Swedish research institute RISE, Italian energy infrastructure operator Snam SpA, fuel cell systems manufacturer SOLIDpower, and alternative fuels competence centre TEC4FUELS GmbH are among the companies working on it.

The industrial and medical gases company Carburos Metálicos, part of the Air Products group, has participated in a test carried out with the Zaragoza City Council in Spain, which studied the circulation and refueling of a hydrogen bus. New Zealand’s first green hydrogen plant has begun commercial operation. Halcyon Power created the 1.5 MW green hydrogen plant in Taupo, which is powered by electricity supplied by the adjacent Mokai geothermal power station. Halcyon Power is a 50/50 cooperation between Tuaropaki Trust and Obayashi Corporation of Japan. Faurecia, the French auto supplier, will determine next year whether to develop an industrial facility in the United States to manufacture hydrogen tanks for fuel cell electric vehicles. If verified, the location will initially house a testing facility and a pilot plant capable of generating limited quantities of hydrogen tanks.
