Pure Hydrogen has entered into an agreement with CAC-H2 to construct three waste-to-hydrogen reactors on Australia’s east coast. The facilities will convert wood waste that would otherwise end up in landfills into renewable hydrogen. This comes amid a concerted effort to develop the hydrogen economy as Australia works toward its target of net zero emissions by 2050. Pure Hydrogen (ASX:PH2) intends to build the first facility north of Brisbane in late 2022. The firm will fund storage and load-out, while CAC-H2 will finance, construct, and manage the plant. Hexagon Purus has finalized the acquisition of Wystrach, a provider of hydrogen systems. As a result, the Company’s board of directors has issued 4,444,430 additional shares of Hexagon Purus (the “Consideration Shares”) to the seller as part consideration for the shares of Wystrach, pursuant to the authorization granted by the Company’s shareholder meeting on 3 November 2020. Following registration of the Consideration Shares in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises, the Company will issue 233 536 669 shares with a par value of NOK 0.10.
