Dorset’s first hydrogen fuel processor is getting closer after a council approved a £1.5m grant. Canford Renewable Energy wants to grow at Canford Resource Park’s former landfill. It proposes an adjacent solar park to power the plant. Low Carbon Dorset’s award would contribute to project costs of little under £6m. Entergy Texas, Inc. has commenced the process of seeking clearance to construct the Orange County Advanced Power Station, a 1,215-megawatt dual fuel combined cycle power station. The facility, which will be constructed near Bridge City, Texas, will have the capacity to power more than 230,000 households using a combination of natural gas and hydrogen. Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) competed in the five-hour Super Taikyu Race in Autopolis from July 31 to August 1 ,2021, with a car powered by a developing hydrogen engine. Xodus, a global energy consultant, has released a new research asking for a more bold vision to enable the UK to become a global leader in hydrogen adoption. ENEOS Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Neoen Australia Pty Ltd. (Neoen) to perform a feasibility study on the establishment of a CO2-free hydrogen supply chain between Japan and Australia. ENEOS is working to build a CO2-free hydrogen supply chain in Japan and elsewhere in preparation of a hydrogen-oriented society moving toward decarbonization.
