Dorset’s first hydrogen fuel processor is getting closer after a council approved a £1.5m grant. Canford Renewable Energy wants to grow at Canford Resource Park’s former landfill. It proposes an adjacent solar park to power the plant. Low Carbon Dorset’s award would contribute to project costs of little under £6m. Entergy Texas, Inc. has commenced the process of seeking clearance to construct the Orange County Advanced Power Station, a 1,215-megawatt dual fuel combined cycle power station.
