. Another big hydrogen project, the Basque Hydrogen Corridor, or BH2C, is being led by Petronor and Repsol, and was announced on February 22.
Dr. Matthias Jurytko, who is currently Plant Manager and Head of Production at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth, will join cellcentric, a Daimler Truck AG and Volvo Group fuel cell joint venture, on June 1, 2021. He will become the company’s Managing Director and CEO.
It is believed to be just the second hydrogen station in the world, after one in Halle, Belgium.
The station is scheduled to open in the second half of 2021 and will provide green hydrogen to large vehicles such as buses, refuse trucks, and fire engines.

The first plant using this technology is being installed near IJzendoorn, a village in the province of Gelderland, on inshore waters of the Waal (Rhine), the Netherlands’ widest river.
