Team has set January 16, 2023, as the deadline for producing the first hydrogen molecules for Petronor.
A municipal government seeks a business partner to establish a hydrogen fuel manufacturing facility. A location adjacent to the M40 in Warwickshire has been selected for the plant, and the Warwick District Council has agreed to set aside up to £50,000 for the formation of the potential collaboration. According to a council assessment, the plant might have commercial benefits. However, the authorities stated that a cooperation was necessary because “we are not specialists in the field.” According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the chosen location for the facility would be next to Greys Mallory, between junctions 13 and 14…
The CEA-Cetim cooperation wants to offer vital services to the industrial fabric so that it can grow.
A power production technique called hydrogen co-fired power generation employs hydrogen fuel to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
NewHydrogen, a developer of a green hydrogen generator, released a status report describing business milestones and the next steps required to secure long-term commercial viability. “NewHydrogen has made significant progress towards its goal of developing technologies that lower the cost of producing green hydrogen, accelerating the timeline for large-scale applications in high growth markets,” said Spencer Hall, NewHydrogen’s COO. NewHydrogen’s sponsored research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) aims to reduce the price of green hydrogen by removing or significantly lowering the use of precious metals in electrolyzers. Currently, electrolyzers rely on scarce elements like iridium and platinum.…
It is considered one of the largest industrial hydrogen projects of its kind in Germany and Europe to date and is a joint project of EWE, swb and ArcelorMittal Bremen. Bremer Wasserstoff GmbH, the company responsible for the project, has now awarded a contract worth millions for the construction of the “HyBit centerpiece” – a ten-megawatt electrolysis plant for hydrogen production at the Bremen Mittelsbüren power plant site. The Rostock-based hydrogen system integrator APEX GROUP was commissioned to do this, and the corresponding contract has now been signed. In addition, Bremer Wasserstoff GmbH has just signed a hydrogen supply contract…
On Thursday evening, everything revolved around hydrogen mobility in Brake. Together with the organizer EWE, the district of Wesermarsch invited experts to a hydrogen day in and around the district hall. The Hydrogen Day with around 40 expert participants is part of a roadshow through the northwest, on which the energy service provider EWE and vehicle manufacturers inform about possible applications of the green gas. The focus of various presentations was on hydrogen mobility with the corresponding infrastructure and the applications in load and individual transport as well as in public transport. “Hydrogen-powered public buses, refuse collection vehicles and passenger…
The North Jutland energy business Eurowind Energy plans to establish five huge land-based energy centers in Denmark during the next few years. The total capacity of the five energy centers will be around 2.5 GW. The first will be Energipark Aalborg, located at Nordjyllandsvaerket in Aalborg, which will be complemented by power generated by turbines in Brønderslev Municipality. The other three projects are Nørrekær Enge II in the municipalities of Vesthimmerland and Aalborg, Energipark Overgaard in the municipality of Randers, and Energipark Gasse Hede and Vollum Enge in the municipality of Tønder. Eurowind Energy has reached agreements with the landowners…
Tangshan generated 6% of the world’s steel output and 13% of China’s steel in 2021.
Hydrogen Power Generation Solutions (HPGS) and Landmark Power Holdings (LPH) have signed the first phase of an agreement for the placement and operation of HPGS’s unique Electro Hydrogen Generators, which will produce hydrogen to aid in the production of electricity for grid stability. HPGS, a company founded in 2014, has created the only hydrogen electrolyser capable of creating GREEN hydrogen by utilizing waste heat, pressure, and inertia derived from natural-gas-powered generators. No other electrolyzer is capable of this, as all other hydrogen-producing devices require electricity. Mark Gilmore, the company’s COO said,“What is most exciting about the HPGS solution is that…
