The Hydrotug, the world’s first hydrogen-powered tugboat, will shortly arrive at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and CMB.TECH. The Hydrotug is powered by two BeHydro V12 dual fuel medium-speed engines that can run on both hydrogen and regular gasoline. This ground-breaking technology, which will be operational in the first quarter of 2023, will be used by the Port of Antwerp-Bruges as a crucial step in the transition to a sustainable, climate-neutral port by 2050.
