Beginning in 2023, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK) will start assembling integrated twin fuel cell (FC) modules for use in hydrogen-powered, heavy-duty commercial trucks on a dedicated line.

The offer of A$2.95 per share values Spark, which owns gas and power distribution networks, at A$5.2 billion ($3.76 billion).

The gigafactory will produce Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) hydrogen electrolyzers built in India, with an initial production capacity of 500 MW per year and a capacity of 2 GW per year.
