ZeroAvia has placed an order for Hyzon’s next generation of lightweight high-performance fuel cells. ZeroAvia will study the ground-breaking fuel cell for use in its zero-emission aircraft research program, which is primarily focused on hydrogen-electric solutions. ZeroAvia chose Hyzon’s fuel cell stack for this evaluation because it offers the highest power density in the industry. A collaboration between Sasol and the Catalysis Institute at the University of Cape Town (UCT) has advanced the use of commercial iron catalysts, which can be produced cheaply and in large quantities at Sasol’s Secunda plant, to convert unavoidable or biogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) and green hydrogen directly into a variety of green chemicals and jet fuel. Gen2 Energy and Vefsn municipality reached an agreement on the future acquisition and sale of two plots in Vefsn municipality for the large-scale production and shipment of green hydrogen. The parties agree that Gen2 Energy may acquire industries in Mosjen in order to construct green hydrogen production facilities, as well as access to quays for exporting green hydrogen to markets in Europe and Norway.
