ABO Wind plans to build its first Polish project in 2021. The Donaborów wind farm will be located about 90 kilometres northeast of Wroclaw and is planned to consist of 9 Siemens Gamesa SG114 turbines with a total output of 19.8 megawatts. Vestas has appointed Eduardo Medina, currently president of Vestas Mediterranean, as the president of Vestas North America. OHT has signed the contract for the transport and installation of foundations for the Dogger Bank B, the second phase of the offshore wind farm. This follows the first contract for the transport and installation of foundations at Dogger Bank A, signed earlier this year. The project will be a continuation for OHT’s specialist new build vessel Alfa Lift after completing installation work on Dogger Bank A. RPM Access (RPMA), an independent Iowa wind developer, has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO). The power and its renewable energy credits will be generated by its 54 MW Independence wind farm located near the town of Ryan in Delaware County, Iowa. Rampion Visitor Centre is located in six newly-refurbished arches neighbouring Brighton’s West Pier Pillars and facing the Rampion offshore wind farm, 13 kilometres off the Sussex coast.
