It is considered one of the largest industrial hydrogen projects of its kind in Germany and Europe to date and is a joint project of EWE, swb and ArcelorMittal Bremen. The North Jutland energy business Eurowind Energy plans to establish five huge land-based energy centers in Denmark during the next few years. The total capacity of the five energy centers will be around 2.5 GW. The first will be Energipark Aalborg, located at Nordjyllandsvaerket in Aalborg, which will be complemented by power generated by turbines in Brønderslev Municipality. Hydrogen Power Generation Solutions (HPGS) and Landmark Power Holdings (LPH) have signed the first phase of an agreement for the placement and operation of HPGS’s unique Electro Hydrogen Generators, which will produce hydrogen to aid in the production of electricity for grid stability. HPGS, a company founded in 2014, has created the only hydrogen electrolyser capable of creating GREEN hydrogen by utilizing waste heat, pressure, and inertia derived from natural-gas-powered generators.
