In a joint announcement, the Offshore Wind Power Limited (OWPL) consortium, which includes Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, TotalEnergies and Scottish developer Renewable Infrastructure Development Group, announced that it is investigating the use of offshore wind to power the production of green hydrogen on an industrial scale on Orkney’s island of Flotta.
